Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share a little bit about the Farmacy Deep Sweep Toner I got in my BoxyCharm box a few months ago. I had yet to test this toner because I had a huge bottle of toner called Son & Park Beauty Water. It took me forever to get through. Not to mention, that toner was a holy grail of mine! With that being said I didn’t feel it was necessary to go out and buy another bottle of toner when I had a perfectly good one to use and test out.

After some deep thought, I figured that it wouldn’t hurt to try something new! I decided to give the Farmacy Deep Sweep toner a whirl. This product has super sleek packaging that I am totally obsessed with, it even feels expensive as it sits in a glass bottle. The product itself has 2% BHA in it which isn’t the best for my dry skin but after recently getting off of birth control, my skin has definitely been breaking out a little more than usual which I think the BHA might be great for when I’m breaking out!

I’ve had a solid 3-4 weeks of trying this product and at first my skin WAS NOT happy. I like to give products 3-4 weeks before completely quitting because your skin has to get used to your new skincare routine/ product. I obviously stop using if there is an allergic reaction but before putting anything on your skin you should do a 24-hour spot test and test a small area on your skin before applying it all over. As 2 weeks went by my skin started to actually clear up from breakouts and my skin tone was more evened out. I usually have a bit of redness on my face but I haven’t had any since using this product. I really do like it but since it does have BHA I decided that it’s best to not use that as my main toner everyday so it doesn’t dry out my skin too much.
Overall, do I think it replaces my holy grail Son & Park Beauty Water? No, but I do like to have this toner in rotation for when I do get breakouts and redness! I definitely recommend trying but keep in mind that this is probably best for oily skin, skin prone to breakouts, normal and oily/combination skin!
